Job Description
Kiseryan Girls Senior Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Biology & Agriculture Teacher to join our dynamic teaching team. The ideal candidate will inspire and engage students in the fascinating world of biology and agriculture, fostering a love for science and sustainable practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Delivery: Develop and deliver engaging and interactive lessons in Biology and Agriculture, aligned with the national curriculum.
- Student Engagement: Employ innovative teaching methods to enhance student understanding and retention.
- Assessment: Design and administer assessments to evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Extracurricular Activities: Lead and participate in school clubs and activities related to biology and agriculture.
- Professional Development: Continuously update knowledge and teaching practices in line with current educational trends.
Qualifications and Experience
- Certification: Must be TSC registered.
- Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Education with a specialization in Biology and/or Agriculture, or a related field.
- Certification: Teaching certification recognized by the relevant educational authorities.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in Biology and/or Agriculture at the secondary school level.
- Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in integrating technology into the classroom is an advantage.
