Job Summary
The school seeks a qualified and passionate Physics and Computer Studies Teacher to join its dynamic academic team. The ideal candidate will inspire students to excel in science and technology, integrating modern teaching methods and practical applications to enhance learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver engaging lessons in Physics and Computer Studies in line with the national curriculum.
- Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessment tools that promote critical thinking and problem-solving.
- Conduct laboratory experiments and computer practical sessions to reinforce theoretical concepts.
- Evaluate and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and academic support.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies to enhance classroom learning.
- Participate in school programs, academic meetings, and extracurricular activities.
- Maintain discipline, professionalism, and a positive learning environment.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education with specialization in Physics and Computer Studies or a related field.
- TSC registration (Teachers Service Commission) is mandatory.
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at the secondary school level.
- Strong knowledge of the Kenyan secondary school curriculum.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in computer applications and digital teaching tools.
